Tennis Essentials was founded by Carla Simpson McKenzie. Carla is an ITA national doubles champion and has taught tennis for more than 12 years.
She is a certified teaching professional with professional level standard from both the USPTA and PTR and is a Master Racquet Technician, a rare and prestigious honor. She is the former Assistant Director of the Professional Tennis Management program at Methodist University where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
